Just Wright Catering – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Just Wright Catering.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all quotations, bookings, orders and services supplied by Just Wright Catering. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

Just Wright Catering provides freshly prepared buffet catering, afternoon teas, corporate lunches, private event catering, celebration catering and vintage china hire throughout Redditch, Bromsgrove, Solihull and surrounding areas.

2. Quotations

All quotations are provided without obligation.

Prices remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Quotations may change if:

  • guest numbers change

  • menus are altered

  • venue requirements change

  • delivery locations change

  • additional services are requested

3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once:

  • your quotation has been accepted; and

  • any requested deposit has been received.

Until confirmation is received, dates cannot be guaranteed.

4. Payment

Unless agreed otherwise:

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Full payment is due before the event.

  • Corporate customers with agreed credit terms may pay by invoice.

Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.

5. Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking:

  • More than 14 days before the event – deposit retained.

  • 7–14 days before – up to 50% of the total booking value may be charged.

  • Less than 7 days before – up to 100% of the booking value may be payable as food, staffing and preparation costs will already have been incurred.

Any cancellation charges will be assessed fairly based on costs already committed.

6. Changes to Guest Numbers

Final guest numbers should be confirmed no later than 7 days before the event.

After this date reductions may not be possible.

Additional guests will be accommodated where practical and charged accordingly.

7. Allergies and Dietary Requirements

We take food allergies and dietary requirements seriously.

Customers must inform us before the event of:

  • allergies

  • intolerances

  • coeliac disease

  • vegan requirements

  • vegetarian requirements

  • religious dietary requirements

Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken, our kitchen handles ingredients containing common allergens including:

  • gluten

  • milk

  • eggs

  • nuts

  • peanuts

  • sesame

  • soya

  • mustard

  • celery

Therefore, we cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment.

8. Food Safety

All food is freshly prepared in accordance with current UK food hygiene regulations.

Once food has been delivered or served, responsibility for safe storage and consumption passes to the customer.

Food should not normally be consumed more than four hours after delivery unless refrigerated appropriately.

9. Delivery

Delivery times are agreed in advance.

Whilst every effort is made to arrive on time, delays caused by:

  • traffic

  • road closures

  • severe weather

  • circumstances beyond our control

cannot always be avoided.

10. Equipment and China Hire

Where crockery, serving equipment or vintage china is hired:

  • items remain the property of Just Wright Catering

  • customers are responsible for loss or damage

  • replacement costs may be charged where appropriate

Normal wear and tear is excluded.

11. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • suitable access to the venue

  • suitable serving areas

  • appropriate electrical facilities where required

  • accurate event information

12. Photography

We may occasionally photograph food displays or table layouts for marketing purposes.

No photographs of guests will be used without permission.

If you would prefer your event not to be photographed, please let us know before the event.

13. Website Information

Every effort is made to ensure information on this website is accurate.

Menus, prices and photographs are intended as a guide only and may change without notice.

14. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • fraud;

  • any liability which cannot legally be excluded.

Otherwise, our liability shall be limited to the value of the booking.

15. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including:

  • severe weather

  • pandemics

  • government restrictions

  • strikes

  • accidents

  • supplier failure

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
